Hisense launches new AR app to virtually try before you buy

Hisense Australia has launched a new augmented reality app that will allow customers to see how its TV, refrigerators and washing machines would look in their home before they’ve even stepped out the door.

The Hisense Home AR app is available for iPhone, iPad and Android devices and was developed in partnership with the Hisense R&D team and an Australian app developer.

The interactive app gives customers a new way to browse the Hisense 2019 range of products which include televisions, washing machines and refrigerators and virtually place them in their home.

The Apple take into account the customer’s space and requirements and accurately measure the available area in three dimensions so there’s no need to pull out a tape measure.

The AR component then makes it possible to view a true-to-scale product in their home before purchase.

The app will also provide information on specifications and even find the nearest retailer – and all before the customer has even left the house.

The Hisense Home AR app will also be able to recommend complimentary products for the customer’s home which will include things like soundbars to go with a TV purchase.

The Hisense Home AR can be downloaded now for free from the App Store and the Google Play Store.
