New Segway-Ninebot range of electric scooters offer improved safety and performance

Segway-Ninebot has introduced a line-up of exciting new electric scooters which boast a number of new features designed to offer a safe and fun ride.

The company also unveiled a limited edition Gokart PRO Lamborghini.

Segway-Ninebot is the leading brand of micro-mobility technology in Australia with the range of KickScooters that can cover commutes between 2km and 50km.

Globally, customers have ridden more than 8.7 billion kilometres on Segway-Ninebot scooters and reduced carbon emissions by 419 million kilograms.

Tech Guide was on the Gold Coast for the launch of the new models which are divided into three ranges – MAXG2, F2 Series and E2 Series.

MAXG2 – $1,699

The Segway-Ninebot MAXG2 is a sleek KickScooter with a range of up to 70km on a single charge thanks to the company’s proprietary RideyLONG technology.

The rear-wheel drive scooter has a more efficient motor and more efficient tyres to maximise range.

The MAXG2 is powerful enough to handle a 22-degree incline and has a max speed of 25km/h.

Also onboard is a double suspension system – single spring suspension on the front wheel and double on the rear wheel to really smooth out your ride.

Another new feature is the 10-inch self-sealing tyres which can handle a puncture up to 4mm. Inside the tyre is a substance that will fill the puncture when the object is removed.

MAXG2 has dual-braking, an LED front light and even turn signals and an electric bell.

What all the Segway-Ninebot KickScooters all have in common is BMS (Battery Management System) which has overcurrent, short circuit and temperature protection.

Apple’s Find My location has also been integrated so iPhone users can easily locate their scooter through the Find My app.

All the Segway-Ninebot scooters also work with a companion app so you can monitor charge levels and activate features.

F2 SERIES – $949 (F2), $1,099 (F2 Plus), $1,399 (F2 Pro)

The F2 Series is aimed at commuters and have wider handlebars for added stability and direction indicators for added safety.

The F2 range have 10-inch self-sealing tyres and a larger capacity battery as well as a Traction Control System to offer enhanced balance for riders.

F2 has a maximum speed of 25km/h with a range of up to 55km for the F2 Plus and F2 Pro. The F2 can take you 40km on a single charge.

E2 SERIES – $549 (E2), $649 (E2 Plus)

The E2 Segway-Ninebot scooters have a design inspired by a surfboard with a top speed of 25km/h and a range of 25km.

The E2 is lightweight and has a slim chassis and easy for commuters to take anywhere.

It also has a new enlarged dashboard, durable hollow tyres, dual braking and improved suspension.

GOKART PRO LAMBORGHINI – $3,299

Designed in co-operation with Lamborghini and limited to 1000 units worldwide, this Gokart has the same iconic yellow colour of the real vehicle and a maximum speed of 40km/h.

It also has a lighting system so you are sure to be seen as well as an adjustable seat position to suit most drivers.

Segway-Ninebot is also offering customer support centres around Australia so customers can receive after-sales service via live chat, on the phone and in person.

There will also be fast access to spare parts and on-the-spot servicing.
