Australian company Rode has unveiled an impressive line-up of new products and software updates at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Rode is showcasing its new products at National Association of Broadcasters Show ahead of their release in the coming months.

The new releases include the Streamer X, Rodecaster Duo and PodMic USB, Wireless GO II charging case.

And on the software side there’s the Wireless GO II firmware update and Rodecaster Pro II firmware update.

STREAMER X

This is a compact yet powerful audio interface and video capture card in one.

The easy-to-use console include studio grade audio inputs for XLR and line level devices, headsets as well as Rode’s wireless microphones.

Under the hood is the ultra-low noise high-gain Revolution Preamp and powerful APHEX audio processing.

It also offers pass through for video quality up to 4K/60fps which means it can be used for streaming and gaming along with podcasts, content creation and business presentations.

There are also two USB C connections which can connect dual PCs and four customizable smart pads that can be used to trigger sound or voice effects and other actions on a connected computer.

RODECASTER DUO

The Rodecaster Duo is a smaller version of the Rodecaster Pro II and packs in the same all-in-one audio production solution for musicians, podcasters, streamers and content creators.

It has the same high power quad core audio engine, Revolution Preamps, APHEX audio processing and excellent customisability as its big brother but now offered in a smaller and more portable form factor.

PODMIC USB

The Rode PodMic USB is a versatile broadcast grade dynamic microphone which can be used by podcasters and streamers to achieve excellent sound quality.

The mic has a compact yet rugged form factor and can be connected via XLR or USB.

It’s also compatible with smartphones and tablets to use on the move and offers zero latency headphone output as well as onboard volume control.

PodMic USB is also compatible with Rode’s software including Rode Central, Rode Connect, Rode Capture and Unify.

WIRELESS GO II CHARGING CASE

The Rode Wireless Go II charging case is designed to fit both transmitters and the receiver into a pack with an integrated battery which offers three complete recharges for up to 30 hours of use.

The case also serves to protect the device with a rugged enclosure and a zip making it the perfect way to safely carry the Wireless Go II anywhere.

WIRELESS GO II FIRMWARE UPDATE

This firmware update will introduce even more features including the ability to save onboard recordings as WAV files for easier transfer to a computer as well as start/stop onboard recordings using the transmitter and receiver power buttons.

RODECASTER PRO II FIRMWARE UPDATE

The biggest update from this new firmware will be the ability for the Rodecaster Pro II to connect microphones wirelessly to the console to make it even more versatile and offering more inputs than any other device of its kind.

This means users will be able to utilise their Wireless GO II and Wireless ME microphones to record on the Rodecaster Pro II.

RODECASTER BACKPACK

Rode has designed a backpack that can easily fit the Rodecaster Pro, the Rodecaster Pro II and the Rodecaster Duo.

It is made from high quality and durable material with a water resistant exterior.

The backpack also has ergonomic adjustable shoulder straps with back and chest support to ensure users can carry their devices in comfort.
