Apple slashes prices in one-day sale

applesaleIf you want to buy an Apple product, today would be the day to get it with a one-day special shopping event with reduced prices across the store.

For today only, Apple has introduced special pricing in Australia to allow local shoppers the same opportunity to pick up a bargain as US customers in their annual Black Friday sale.

The discounts apply on products purchased from Apple’s website or in one of Apple’s Stores. And online shoppers will also receive free shipping.

Prices on iPads, iPods, MacBook Pros and have been reduced by as much as $105.

The iPad 2 and iPad fourth generation with Retina Display have been discounted by up to $65. For example, a 64GB fourth generation iPad wi-fi + cellular has been reduced from $899 to $834.

The iPad Mini is not included in the sale.

The MacBook Pro range has been reduced by $105

The entry level 13-inch MacBook Pro has been slashed by $105 down to $1,244.

The latest iPod Touch models have also been reduced by up to $41 that brings the new 64GB model down from $439 down to $398.

Also on special are FileMaker personal database apps – Bento for Mac is down from $49.99 to $31.99 while Bento for iPad is down from $10.49 to $5.49.

The iPad range has also been discounted by up to $65

Apple’s sale is on today only in stores and extends online a few hours longer until 1.59am tomorrow November 24.
