The Jabra Elite 75t earphones tick all the boxes and have gone to the next level with a more compact design, better battery life and improved audio quality.

It’s not very often when the latest version of a product is a huge improvement over the previous but that’s exactly what you get with the Jabra Elite 75t wire-free earphones.

The new Jabra Elite 75t earphones have a sleeker and smaller design, better audio quality and even better battery life.

And it’s also competitively priced at $299.

Let’s start with the size.

The Elite 75t has lost a lot of weight.

The earbuds themselves have noticeably shrunk and they offer a more comfortable, yet still secure, fit whether you’re listening casually, commuting or in the middle of a workout.

They are IP55-rated against dust and water so you can push the limit with the Elite 75t. The earphones also come with a two-year warranty.

But despite the reduction in size, the quality and scale of the sound remains just as impressive.

Even the charging case is a lot smaller which means it’s even easier to carry in your pocket.

No you’d think that a smaller earbud and a smaller case would mean less battery power.

Wrong.

The Jabra Elite 75t earphones will run for up to seven and half hours before they need a charge.

And that charge can come from the case which has enough power to recharge them earphones three more times on the go for a total battery life of 28 hours.

On the audio side, the Jabra Elite 75t offers clean and crisp sound with a surprisingly solid level of bass.

Music quality is exceptional no matter what genre of music you enjoy.

All the detail is there, along with the power.

And that bass just won’t quit – that’s a good thing for most (including us) but some may want to dial the bass down with the Jabra Sound+ App through the customisable equaliser.

No there is no active noise cancellation but the silicon tips provide a passive seal which still allows you to hear your music and other audio content quite well even in noisy environments.

And you can still keep an ear on what’s going on around you – a good feature especially if you’re walking or running near busy roads.

For those who want to access their assistants – Alexa, Siri and Google – you can do just that but you need to press a button before you can talk to them.

Call quality has also improved with the Jabra Elite 75t and offer decent quality.

The microphones are not quite as good as the quality you get with more expensive noise cancelling earphones like the Sony WF-1000XM3 or the AirPods Pro.

But the quality is still respectable at this price.

For those who don’t make too many calls or couldn’t be bothered talking through the earphones this won’t be much of an issue.

If you’re looking to invest in a pair of wire-free earphones or are looking to upgrade, the Jabra Elite 75t earphones are a good investment.

They are available now from JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, amazon.com.au, jabra.com.au and are priced at $299.
