The new Arlo Go 2 4G + Wi-Fi camera can offer video security anywhere

Arlo today released its new Arlo Go 2 4G and Wi-Fi mobile security camera which can be placed anywhere including remote properties, construction sites, boat moorings, camper vans and holiday homes where wi-fi is not usually available.

Priced at $429, Arlo Go 2 4G + Wi-Fi camera requires a SIM card with a data plan to connect to the 4G network to enable the camera’s continuous connection and operation.

Naturally, the camera is weatherproof and can be positioned anywhere so you can monitor your boat, your caravan, vacation home and other more remote locations.

Arlo Go 2 4G + Wi-Fi has a swappable rechargeable battery and can also connect to a wireless network if it is within range.

The camera can record in 1080p Full HD day and night.

At night, thanks to an integrated spotlight, it can also capture colour night vision.

Also on board is a siren which users can trigger remotely or set automatically to ward off unwanted guests.

The camera also includes subscription access to Arlo Secure with a free three-month trial.

Arlo secure allows users to store recordings in the cloud for up to 30 days as well as receive personalised notifications that can distinguish between people, animals, vehicles and packages.
