LG’s 2023 soundbar range to up the audio game for movies, gaming and music

LG has launched its 2023 soundbar line-up including the SC9, SE6 and S77 models which include improved audio quality and functionality to fit perfectly with LG’s 2023 TV range.

The LG soundbars offer an immersive experience whether you’re watching a movie, playing a game or listening to music.

When linked to an LG TV, the new LG soundbars will offer a new feature called WOW Orchestra which combines the speakers in the TV with the speakers aboard the soundbar for an even larger soundstage.

The new LG soundbars offers multi surround sound options including Dolby Atmos and IMAX enhanced powered by DTS:X.

These also include the WOW Interface to the Home Dashboard to selected LG TVs which means users can easily manage the soundbars settings and share sound modes with the TVs.

WOWCAST also allows the LG 2023 soundbars to connect wirelessly to selected LG TVs so you can avoid adding another cable to your TV.

The LG SC9 soundbar

Under the hood the LG soundbars have LG’s Triple Sound Technology which includes three upfiring speakers along with Triple Level Spatial Technology that can add a virtual mid-level to the sound to offer and even greater send of space and movement.

AI Sound Optimiser can upgrade your sound, including two channel audio, and optimise it to your room thanks to LG’s AI Room Calibration.

AI Sound Pro can detect the type of content you’re watching whether its movies, games, sport or music and apply the settings that will make the soundbar sound its best.

The LG SE6 soundbar

On the design side, the new LG soundbars have a minimalist look to match LG’s TVs.

The LG SC9 soundbar will include a new bracket so it can sit right below an LG OLED C2 or C3 TV.

The bracket fits on the rear of the TV and can be used whether the TV is wall mounted or rested on an entertainment unit.

One of the LG soundbars – the SE6 is designed for smaller spaces yet still offers a 25mm tweeter and four passive radiators to provide solid sound and respectable bass.

The SE6 supports Dolby Atmos and DTS:X and offer WOW Orchestra with compatible LG TVs and the WOW Interface.

The LG S7 is the mid-range models and offers 3.1.3-channel surround sound including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Pricing will be announced in the coming weeks ahead of the range’s official release.
