Rode adds a microphone and turns the NTH-100 headphones into a quality headset

Rode has just released the NTH-100M – the headset edition of the award-winning NTH-100 headphones – which includes a broadcast quality headset microphone and is ideal for media, podcasting, streaming and gaming.

The Rode NTH-100M has all the features of the NTH100 headphones with the addition of a removable microphone and cable.

The headphones include 40mm dynamic drivers created with high grade components to deliver accurate audio with very low distortion.

The earcups have a contoured design and offer optimised acoustic performance while also including a layer of high-density memory phone to provide passive noise isolation.

And with the addition of the broadcast grade microphone, the NTH-100M is even more useful so users can enjoy studio-quality audio monitoring and broadcast quality voice capture all in one device.

The microphone has a miniature condenser capsule that provides detailed voice reproduction and is positioned to reject plosives no matter your head shape or size.

The microphone is fully detachable and can be stored in the included pouch when not in use.

The detachable mic includes a locking bayonet connector to ensure you get a solid connection every time you use it while still making it easy to remove and store when not being used.
