Bose launches new Smart Soundbar 600 to elevate your audio experience

Bose has launched the new Smart Soundbar 600 – a compact soundbar that includes Dolby Atmos to bring immersive audio to your viewing experience.

Whether you’re watching a movie, TV show or listening to music, the Bose Smart Soundbar 600 can deliver crisp dialogue, vocals, sound effects and instruments which appear to come from the left, right and even from above.

It includes wi-fi, Bluetooth and Chromecast to give customers complete control of their streaming experience.

The unit also works with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for complete voice control for the soundbar and the connected TV.

Bose SimpleSync makes it easy to pair the soundbar with compatible Bose headphones or Bluetooth speakers to extend the listening experience even further.

When playing Dolby Atmos content, the precisely tuned both digital signal processing and Atmos decoding aboard the soundbar combine with five transducers to produce a sound that appears to be coming all around you where there are no speakers to be seen.

The two side-firing racetrack shaped transducers also project audio horizontally while the centre tweeter serves up clear dialogue.

The two up-firing transducers add to the horizontal soundscape and reflect sound off the ceiling to make it seems like sounds are coming from overhead.

This power, scale and depth puts viewers in the centre of the action.

The Soundbar 600 is tiny but mighty and stands just 5.58cm tall, 10.41cm deep and 68.58cm long.

With those dimensions, the speaker has a low profile to easily fit under any TV without blocking the screen.

It also has a refined matte body and a wraparound black metal grille.

And it only takes a single cable – either a HDM e ARC or optical cable – from the soundbar to the TV.

Users can also wirelessly stream their favourite music services while Bluetooth lets you connect your phone or tablet to stream what is playing on the device.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 is compatible with other Bose smart speakers and soundbars to allow users to create a multiroom audio system and couple Bose bass modules and rear speakers to create a true home theatre experience.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 600 will be available from October 27 and will be priced at $799.
