Joby releases new range of tripods for smartphones and GoPro cameras

With more people taking photos and videos using their smartphone or a GoPro camera, Joby has released new tripods and stands to make the job even easier.

Joby is well known for its original GorillaPod tripod with segmented legs that are easily adjustable and even capable of wrapping around and gripping objects for greater stability.

Joby’s latest products now include a small stand and a tripod for your smartphone that are both small enough to take everywhere with you.

For GoPro users who want to capture their cool activities, Joby has also come up with products to make it even easier.

JOBY GRIP TIGHT MICRO STAND – $29.95

If you want to take a better selfie or a group shot, the Joby Grip Tight Micro Stand can fit any smartphone in its adjustable stand and be easily positioned to frame your shot thanks to the mini ballhead.

The stand has rubber feet to ensure a better grip even on uneven surfaces

The two parts of the product – the stand and the grip – can both be folded down screwed together and is small enough to carry it around on your key ring.

JOBY MPOD MINI STAND – $18.95

Joby’s GorillaPod style adjustable tripod has been shrunk down to use with your smartphone.

The adjustable head mount can open up and stretch out to accept nearly any smartphone and position it securely to take your photos or videos.

With the flexible legs joints it can be easily adapted for all types of surfaces to guarantee that steady shot.

JOBY GPOD MINI MAGNETIC – $14.95

Designed for point and shoot compact digitals and GoPro cameras, the Joby GPod Mini Magnetic has the same tripod with flexible leg joints as the Mini Stand but has magnetic feed to secure to metal objects and surfaces.

And the adjustable neck makes it easy to adjust the camera angles while the flexible legs can provide even more creative possibilities.

JOBY GORILLAPOD ACTION TRIPOD – $59

The GorillaPod Action Tripod has the trademark flexible leg joints to position the product on any surface and even wrap them around tree branches, poles and other objects.

There are two quick release clips – one for a traditional camera and the other for the GoPro.

The integrated aluminium ballhead allows for easy adjustment so you can angle the camera in any direction and any angle.

There’s also a spirit level built onto the top of the tripod to help photographers keep their photos and videos level.
