Modern technology gives us many things.

New free Rode Connect software lets you record podcasts and live stream with ease

Rode has released a new powerful software solution which offers a fully-featured recording interface that works with the Rode NT-USB Mini microphone so you can easily record a podcast or host a live stream with superior audio.

The Rode Connect podcast and streaming software, which is free to download for Mac and PC, was inspired by the Rodecaster Pro mixer and allows users to connect up to four Rode NT-USB Minis to one computer.

The interface includes broadcast style faders, level metering and mute buttons.

It offers one-click recording capabilities with output control and offers several output options for uploading to all popular podcasting platforms.

Also onboard are virtual channels that will allow you to connect remote guests via communication apps like Zoom or Google Hangouts and other external audio.

It’s also streamlined and simple to use so you can get recording or streaming without the need for an audio engineering degree.

The Rode NT-USB Mini microphone offers studio quality and can record crystal clear audio directly to your Mac or PC via a USB connection.

There also a range of new accessories for the NT-USB Mini including Colours – a kit of colour coded caps for the microphones so you can easily identify which input is which – as well as colour-coded cable caps for USB-C and USB-A cables.
