Modern technology gives us many things.

Denon’s DHT-S517 soundbar connects to any TV for a superior audio experience

Audio brand Denon, one of the market leaders in AV receivers, has released the DHT-S517 soundbar that can plug into any TV and enhance the entertainment experience.

The Denon soundbar has upfiring speakers along with a powerful wireless subwoofer to bring Dolby Atmos to your living room.

This thrilling 3D audio effect will make you hear sounds from around you, behind you and above you.

The device has been precisely engineered and tuned by the Denon Sound Masters to provide clear dialogue, enhanced bass and enveloping sound through its 3.1.2 configuration.

Under the hood is a powerful seven-driver array made up of left and right channel tweeters and midrange drivers as well as a dedicated centre channel and two up-firing speakers.

The sound bar also works in conjunction with the wireless subwoofer to create remarkable clarity and added punch.

“While TV manufactures have developed thinner and thinner screens with high resolution and great picture quality, space for speakers has notably diminished, resulting in a sacrificed sound experience,” said Denon President, Trip Randall.

“With our newest Denon soundbar, you’ll immediately boost your home theatre experience to upgraded 3D sound and will find your viewing experience makes exponential leaps forward for the better.

“It takes a legacy brand like Denon to deliver this kind of spectacular, immersive sound, all with an easy-to-use set-up that is compatible with any TV.”

The Denon DHT-S517 will work with any TV set up. It comes with a HDMI cable so audio can run from any smart TV or compatible source to the sound bar via the HDMI eARC (audio return channel).

This will allow users to control the soundbar volume through their TV’s remote control.

If your TV doesn’t have HDMI ARC it can also be connected using the digital optical input.

There is also an additional 4K UHD HDMI input to connect additional HDMI sources like a Blu-ray player or a gaming console to the soundbar directly.

It also a powerful audio speaker so you can easily stream your favourite music via Bluetooth when you’re not watching the TV.

The soundbar also has a dialogue enhancer which improves the clarity and intelligibility of spoken content which is important to viewers enjoying movies, news, sports and other entertainment

The unit also offers multiple sound modes to suit whatever you’re watching or listening to including movie mode, music mode, pure mode and night mode.

With pure mode, all surround processing and other characteristics are eliminated to deliver just a pure music listening experience

The Denon DHT-S517 soundbar with wireless subwoofer will be available in early February and will be priced at $749.
