Laser releases its SmartHome range in Big W with prices starting as low as $8

Australian homegrown consumer electronics brand Laser has released its SmartHome brand of easy-to-install and affordable smart home devices in Big W stores nationwide with products available from as little as $8.

Laser’s SmartHome range is designed to be easy to connect and easy to use so you can be up and running in minutes.

As the smart home products hit the shelves in Big W from tomorrow, Laser will also reduce the prices across this entire range by up to 20 per cent.

The products include a smart doorbell for less than $100, a full HD camera for $39 and smart lighting from just $8.

Laser is proving you don’t need to spend big money to have a smart home and are making these products accessible to more customers than ever before by making them even more affordable and easy to connect.

“We have always been ‘laser’-focused on driving prices down in this category, and our range in Big W is testament to how far the smart home category has come in just a few short years,” says Chris Lau, Managing Director of Laser Co.

“Not long ago a single smart light bulb would have cost upwards of $40 each, and we can now offer Australian families far more value such that they are essentially not paying any extra to ‘go smart’.

The Laser SmartHome products are also compatible with Amazon Alexa and are a certified Google partner which means Australians can control their devices easily via voice commands or as standalone products controlled via the Laser SmartHome app which is available for Android and iOS devices.

The Laser products connect directly to your wi-fi with no hub or any other hardware required.

This means customers are free to mix and match products and brands as they build up their smart home system.
