There is an air intake grill around the lower half of the device that draws in the room’s air into its HEPA filter before releasing the purified air through the top of the unit.

And the Smartmi Air Purifier P1 is whisper quiet with a noise level between 19 decibels and 49 decibels. Even at 49db – that’s still quieter than your voice when you’re talking.

On top there are touch controls to set the mode of the Smartmi Air Purifier P1 between custom, normal, auto and sleep.

A timer can also be set for up to 8 hours of operation before it will automatically shut down.

The Smartmi Air Purifier P1 also has a companion app that offers complete control of the product as well as monitoring the air quality in your home.

The device also work with Apple’s HomeKit, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant so you can easily integrate it onto your smart home set up and control it with your voice.
