Modern technology gives us many things.

Samsung adds new Jet Bot AI+ robot vacuum to its BESPOKE range

Samsung has expanded its BESPOKE home range of appliances with the addition of the Jet Bot AI+ robot vacuum which includes a 3D sensor for more accurate and efficient cleaning.

The Jet Bot AI+ can accurately scan a wide area and avoid small, hard to detect objects on the floor.

The 3D depth camera on board is equivalent to 256,000 distance sensors which can precisely detect objects as small as 1cm and prevent the device being blocked on its cleaning path.

The Jet Bot AI+ also has Intel AI under the hood which powers the unit’s object recognition technology so it can see not only see objects on the floor but also appliances and furniture.

This means the robot can make decisions on the go to ensure the user’s home is clean but also avoid objects like children’s toys and maintain a safe distance from valuable objects like porcelain vases.

The AI is so intelligent it can even classify items including pet waste, glass cups and cables as items to avoid.

“BESPOKE Jet Bot AI+ reflects Samsung’s ongoing dedication to creating connected appliances that deliver dynamic performance and can adapt to the varying needs of our consumers,” said Jeremy Senior, Vice President – Consumer Electronics, Samsung Australia.

“Australians can now clean their homes intelligently and efficiently using the AI-powered Jet Bot, while being an aesthetically well-designed appliance that Australians can be proud to have in their homes.”

On the cleaning side, the Jet Bot AI+ has a digital inverter motor to maximise suction power for a deeper clean.

The Intelligent Power Control function can even identify the type of dust and amount of debris on the surface to automatically adjust suction power on the move.

And the device also has hygiene in mind to ensure dust is securely trapped and not likely to be released back into the air thanks to an advanced five-layered filtration system which traps up to 99.99 per cent of micro dust.

The robot vacuum also includes an integrated clean station which collects dirt and hair in a 2.5 litre dust bag that only needs to be replaced once every three months.

After each sweep of your home, the robot vacuum automatically returns to the Clean Station and empties itself using the Air Pulse technology which also includes a multilayered filtration system to make sure dust isn’t released back into the air.

The Jet Bot AI+ can be controlled remotely using the SmartThings app on your smartphone and can be scheduled to clean your entire home or selected rooms with the Select & Go function.

The app can also be used to define virtual no-go zones to prevent the robot vacuum from entering certain areas of your home without the need for physical barriers.

The robot also responds via Bixby to voice commands so users can schedule cleaning sessions and change modes just by talking to the unit.

Pet owners can also use the robot vacuum to check in and care for their pets by streaming a live feed from the Jet Bot AI+ front camera.

Users can also play music and access other compatible smart devices to soothe their pets or keep them entertained.

The BESPOKE Jet Bot AI+ is available now in Australians via Samsung’s online store and is priced at $1,899.
