Light up your kitchen with the new LG MoodUP fridge with LED door panels

If you’re tired of the colour of a plain refrigerator, then you’ll love LG’s new MoodUP refrigerator which has LED door panels that change colour to suit your mood or your décor.

Unveiled at the IFA tech trade show in Berlin, the LG MoodUP fridge has advanced refrigeration features and smart home compatibility but also delivers a new experience with LED doors that can change colour and play music through its built-in speakers.

The LG MoodUP’s LED door panels can be adjusted through the LG ThinQ smarthome app with a choice of 22 different colours for the upper door panel and 19 colours for the lower door panel.

Customers can choose from preset colour themes including Season, Place, Mood and Pop.

Season offers tones and hues inspired by nature while Mood inspires a sense of wellbeing with its soft and soothing colours.

The LG MoodUP refrigerator has Bluetooth onboard so you can connect your smartphone, tablet or PC to stream your music.

The fridge also has a Music Collection playlist to match the LED panel theme.

The LED panels change colours in sync with the music to turn your kitchen into a disco.

The LG MoodUP fridge can sense when a door has been left open by making the LED panel on that door blink repeatedly.

And late night snackers will be able to find the fridge in the dark thanks to the motion sensors that turns on the freezer door LED panel when it detects any movement.

When the LED panels are turned off the LG MoodUP fridge is a combination of grey and white for a more traditional kitchen look.

The LG MoodUP refrigerator will be released in Australia in the coming months.
