Modern technology gives us many things.

Dyson unveils new air purifiers to rid your home of pollutants and allergens

Dyson has just released its latest generation air purifier to eliminate air pollution inside our homes. Yes, that’s right – inside. Air pollution in our homes is up to five times worse than it is outside.

There are a lot of unwelcome particles floating about at home and considering we spent 90 per cent of our time indoors, it makes sense to have an air purifier like Dyson’s new Pure Hot+Cold Link purifier heater.

It can heat or cool the room and purify the air at the same time.

The product has new and compact filtration technology – a 360-degree glass HEPA filter to eliminate fine particles, allergens and pollutants.

These can come from pets, plants and cleaning products.

The dangers also include potentially harmful gases including:

Formaldehyde: Can be expelled from insulation and building materials, fibreboards, adhesives, paint, floor finishes, varnishes, vehicle emissions and tobacco smoke.

Benzene: Comes from paint, lacquers, glues, detergent, rubber, cleaning/degreasing formulas and tobacco smoke.

Toulene: Can enter the home from vehicle exhaust or stored fuel supplies and is also released from paint and personal care products.

Napthalene: Usually occurs in solid form but can be released as a gas indoors.

The new Dyson air purifier is designed offer three elements to achieve a 99.95 per cent reduction of inside air pollution – purification, efficient filtration and intelligent sensing.

The Dyson unit can detect airborne pollutants, purify air and also maintain your desired room temperature.

And the companion Dyson Link app can let you know the air quality both indoors and outdoors as well as display humidity and temperature graphs.

The Dyson Pure Hot+Cold Link purifier uses the patented Air Multiplier which can project up to 200 litres of air per second over an airfoil shaped to circulate the purified air to heat or cool the room.

Dyson’s new Pure Hot+Cold Link air purifier will be available in white/silver and black/nickel from www.dyson.com.au and all major electrical retailers from May 3 and will be priced at $779.

Also available are Dyson Pure Cool Link desk and floor models to purify the air and stay cool during the warmer months.
