Uniden has unveiled a new 4K smart dash cam – the Dash View 50R – as the latest addition to its range with a resolution four times higher than HD so you can get an even clearer view on the road.
Included with the 50R is a 64GB MicroSD card to store your vision.
The new Uniden Dash View 50R – which includes a front and rear camera – also has voice control for completely hands-free operation.
The front 4K camera has a sleek design which can be easily positioned in front of your vehicle’s rear-view mirror.
The front 4K camera and the Full HD rear camera both offer a 140-degree field of view to capture a wider area and offer even more detail so you can clearly read number plates and street signs.
Uniden uses Sony’s Starvis Image Sensor with the same back-illuminated pixel technology used in CMOS image sensors for even higher video quality and clearer footage in bright and low light environments.
And when you’re not driving the Uniden Dash View 50R is also keeping an eye on things with Parking Mode.
This allows users to record any incidents around their vehicle when they are away from the car in car parks and shopping centres.
The Uniden Dash View app makes it possible to playback video wirelessly on your smartphone as soon as it’s been recorded.
It’s also easy to share clips through the app to insurance companies, authorities – or on social media.
The Dash View 50R also gives drivers a warning when approaching red light and fixed speed cameras.
