Sony’s HT-RT3 home cinema system will have you surrounded in Dolby Digital sound
Sony has just released a new HT-RT3 easy-to-set-up home cinema soundbar that can provide 5.1 channel surround sound and make your movie-viewing experience come to life.
The HT-RT3 consists of a soundbar, two wireless rear speakers and a wireless subwoofer.
It is ideal for customers who want to enjoy a multi-speaker set-up without the need for a complicated set-up and without breaking the bank.
Setting up the system takes minutes via colour-coded connections for the front speakers and Bluetooth connectivity.
And then it’s a single HDMI connection to your TV and you’re ready to go.
There’s also an optical input to enjoy high quality sound directly from compatible Blu-ray and DVD players.
The system has a total output of 600W so you can really feel that Dolby Digital surround sound and enjoy your movies like never before.
Under the hood is Sony’s S-Master Digital Amplifier which means the soundbar produces clear, crisp sound with minimal distortion.
And the system isn’t just for movies – you can also stream your music from your smartphone or tablet through the speakers as well.
Users can make a one-touch connection to the speakers from their mobile device with NFC (near field communication) which again removes any complicated set-up and pairing.
The Sony HT-RT3 5.1 channel soundbar will be available later in May and will be priced at $499.
