Roborock launches its new and more powerful S8 series of flagship robot vacuums

Roborock has launched its latest S8 range of flagship robot vacuum cleaners which build on the success of the popular S7 series with more power and new intelligent features.

Unveiled at Uluru, the Roborock S8 line-up is made up of three models – the S8, the S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra – and offer a hands-free cleaning experience.

“The S8 Series uses the most powerful cleaning system we have ever seen in the Australian market to date on a robot vacuum,” says Jade Tang – Head of Marketing- Roborock ANZ. “Paired with the ability to manoeuvre around objects and maintain itself, customers can now enjoy a more hands-free deep clean than ever before.”

The S8 series boasts Roborock’s strongest suction at an impressive 6000Pa and the new dual rubber roller improves the ability to pick up dirt while still avoiding hair tangles which will be music to the ears of pet owners.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a brush that can lift automatically up to 5mm in the mop-only mode which prevents cross contamination when the vacuum returns to the dock.

Mopping is even more efficient with the S8 Pro Ultra thanks to the improved VibraRise system which offers two vibration points which, when combined with the Sonic Vibration technology, can scrubs floors 3000 times per minute for a spotless result.

And there’s no worry the S8 is going to get into a tangle thanks to the improved obstacle and avoidance system.

It can recognise and sidestep various objects like toys, cables and socks and continue its cleaning path.

The S8+ and S9 Pro Ultra also include an auto-empty dock station which allows the robot to auto empty water and dust for up to seven weeks before you need to change the dust bags and refill the reservoir.

The Roborock S8, S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra are available to pre-order ahead of a May release from Godfreys, Mobileciti, Robot Specialists and Roborock Online Store. All pre-orders will come with a matching Roborock Accessories Kit valued at $150.
