Modern technology gives us many things.

Ecovacs Robotics launches new flagship Deebot Ozmo 950 vacuum

Leading home robotics company Ecovacs Robotics has unveiled its latest flagship model – the Deebot Ozmo 950 – which has new multi-floor mapping functionality and three hours of battery life to give your home a fast and thorough clean.

The Deebot Ozmo 950 has already been awarded the IFA Product Technical Innovation Award for its mapping technology.

“Ecovacs aims to play a key role in the development of the service robotics industry in the next 20 or even 100 years,” said Jonathan Tang, Vice President, Head of Global Business at Ecovacs Robotics.

“The new brand Visual Identity goes well beyond a Logo. It represents Ecovacs’ brand spirit which is innovative and vibrant, as well as our commitment to building an intelligent home service robotics brand.”

Launching in Australia in October, the Deebot Ozmo 950 includes the upgraded Smart Navi 3.0 laser mapping and navigation technology which scans, maps and plans the most efficient cleaning path around your home.

The Multi-Floor mapping means the robot can now store multiple maps of a home’s different levels so no area of the home is left out.

The Deebot Ozmo 950 offers a premium cleaning experience with a new pressure retention system called Floating Brush 2.0 and superior suction power.

This allows the machine to sweep up to 4mm deep cracks so no dust can hide.

And Max+ Mode increases suction power when needed to tackle stubborn dirt and other messier areas.

The Deebot Ozmo 950 can be controlled and monitored through the Ecovacs Home app and also directed by Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

The app also allows users to create virtual boundaries for both vacuuming and mopping and the ability to assign cleaning areas, set schedules and switch between modes.

“Ecovacs Robotics designed the DEEBOT OZMO 950 to meet growing consumer demand for a smarter, more affordable vacuum robot with premium features that include vacuuming, mopping and smart-home capabilities and we are excited to be launching this shortly in Australia,” said Karen Powell, Country Manager for Ecovacs Robotics Australia and New Zealand.

“By combining intelligent mapping, navigation technology, energy-efficiency, automated mopping capabilities and new designs for the robots to enhance mobility, our robots ensure that the always missed spots can be well taken care.

“Ecovacs robots are already the first choice of over 15 million families around the world, are we’re delighted that an ever-growing number of Australian households are among them.”

The Ecovacs Ozmo 950 will be available in Australia in October. Local pricing will be announced closer to the local launch date.
