Wax on, wax off! This week on The Best Movies You’ve Never See podcast were watching the 80s classic The Karate Kid starring Ralph Macchio and Pat Morita.

The Karate Kid tells the story Daniel La Russo who has moved to California with his mother who’s starting a new job. Soon Daniel finds himself being bullied by students from the local karate dojo before seeking help from his wise old building maintenance man Mr Miyagi who was once a karate expert.

Stephen watched The Karate Kid in the cinema as a teenager and has been a regular month ever since. Trevor has never seen the movie start to finish until now.

We go through the memorable scenes and share some interesting facts, behind the scenes tidbits, trivia, fact v fiction and other things you don’t know about the film.
